Records of the Connecticut Society of Gerontology. Organized in 1953, the Society served those in the field of gerontology and those who wished to learn more about the aging process. The Society was dissolved in 1998. The collection contains meeting minutes, correspondence, dues and membership information, by-laws, and related information. The society participated in the White House Commission on Aging, and its local counterpart, the Connecticut White House Conference on Aging.
